An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Project Manager to join a highly regarded, privately owned Australian investment organisation with a diverse portfolio of assets and investments.
n
Based in Perth, this is a true client-side Project Management opportunity, providing the chance to represent the owner's interests and oversee projects from early planning and design through procurement, construction and completion.
n
Working within a sophisticated and commercially focused environment, you'll collaborate with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors and external partners to ensure projects achieve exceptional outcomes across cost, programme, quality, risk and sustainability.

The Opportunity
n
As Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects throughout their lifecycle, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring delivery aligns with the organisation's broader strategic and investment objectives.
n
This role will suit someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of project delivery, commercial management and stakeholder engagement, rather than focusing solely on day-to-day construction activities.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Manage projects from concept and feasibility through design, procurement, construction and completion.
n
Develop and manage project programmes, budgets and delivery strategies.
n
Appoint, coordinate and manage architects, engineers and specialist consultants.
n




Manage head contractors and other external delivery partners.
n
Lead design development and ensure project outcomes align with the client's objectives.
n
Oversee tendering, procurement and contractor selection.
n
Monitor project costs, forecasts, variations and overall financial performance.
n
Identify and proactively manage project risks.
n
Manage statutory approvals and coordinate with relevant authorities.
n
Provide clear project reporting to senior internal stakeholders.
n
Ensure projects achieve high standards across quality, safety and sustainability.
n
Build strong relationships with consultants, contractors, government authorities and other key stakeholders.

About You
n
We're looking for an accomplished Project Manager who combines strong project delivery capability with commercial acumen and exceptional stakeholder management skills.
n
You'll ideally bring:
n
n
Demonstrated Project Management experience within property, construction, infrastructure or a related environment.
n
Client-side, developer or asset-owner experience highly regarded.
n
Alternatively, strong Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor experience with significant client-facing and design management exposure.
n




Experience managing projects through multiple stages of the development and construction lifecycle.
n
Strong understanding of design management, procurement and construction delivery.
n
Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, programmes and risk.
n
Excellent commercial judgement and problem-solving capability.
n
Confidence managing senior stakeholders, consultants and contractors.
n
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Property, Architecture or a related discipline.
