Role Overview
n
As a Laboratory Technologist, you won't just run tests, you'll be part of a powerhouse team driving advancements in chemical manufacturing. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you'll collaborate across departments, support daily production, and contribute to product development all while championing quality and safety at every step.
n
Working hours will be the following on a roster basis.
n
6:30am - 2:30pm
n
10:30am - 6:30pm
n
2pm-10pm.
n
A day in the lab!
n
Here's what you'll dive into:
n
Perform essential quality control testing on in-process and final products
n
Support production teams by helping to achieve product excellence and timely despatch
n
Assist in blend corrections, production trials, and R&D; efforts
n
Evaluate raw material alternatives and contribute to supplier selection
n
Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives and process changes
n
Lead by example in safety reporting and WHS excellence
n




Coach and train others, supporting a culture of shared knowledge and growth
n

Here's what makes you a strong fit:

A degree in Science, Chemistry, or Engineering
n
3–8 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing or laboratory environment
n
Solid analytical, problem-solving, and computer skills
n
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
n
Comfort with ambiguity and a knack for working across competing priorities
n
Commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and safety
