Job Description
Project Overlander is seeking an experienced 12V Auto Electrician to join our growing team for an immediate start.
n
We specialise in premium 4WD touring vehicles, American trucks and complete overland builds. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-quality, custom projects rather than repetitive dealership work.
n
The role
n
You'll be responsible for installing, wiring and diagnosing a wide range of 12V systems, including:
n
n
REDARC battery-management and RedVision systems
n
Lithium battery and dual-battery systems
n
Inverters, solar panels and 240V integration
n
Canopy and vehicle electrical fit-outs
n
Lighting, switching, accessories and power outlets
n
UHF radios, compressors and touring accessories
n
Fault-finding, testing and system commissioning
n
Producing neat, properly protected and labelled wiring installations
n
n
About you
n
We're looking for someone who:
n
n
Has proven automotive 12V electrical experience
n
Takes pride in clean, qualified workmanship
n
Can read wiring diagrams and confidently diagnose faults
n
Can work independently and as part of a larger build team
n
Is organised, reliable and committed to completing work properly
n
Holds a current Australian driver licence
n
Has experience with 4WDs, touring builds, canopies or American trucks
n
n
A qualified Automotive Electrician is preferred, although experienced 12V installers with a strong portfolio of work are encouraged to apply.
