The Role
n
Reporting to the Environmental Compliance Coordinator and based in
n Windsor, the successful candidate will join a high-performing team committed to
n continuous improvement. The position is responsible for:
n
n
Investigating environmental, public health and pollution complaints.
n
Delivering the annual public health inspection programs.
n
Assessing development applications from an environmental health perspective.
n
Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to protect community health and the setting.
n
Contributing to ongoing service improvements and regulatory outcomes
n
n
About You
n
You have demonstrated experience in Environmental Health within
n local government and public health settings, with a proven ability to manage
n complex regulatory issues and deliver balanced, practical outcomes. Your strong
n technical knowledge and regulatory expertise allow you to assess and resolve
n complex environmental health issues, applying sound judgement and
n evidence-based decision-making.

n
Bachelor of Applied Science (Environmental Health) or equivalent qualification
n
Ability to interpret relevant legislations and enforce such legislations
n
Experience in investigating and taking enforcement action relating to environmental health, public health and pollution incidents
n
High level of interpersonal, negotiation, conflict resolution and communication skills
n
Ability to apply technical knowledge to a range of complex situations
n
The right to live and work in Australia
n
Class C Drivers Licence
n
WHS General Construction Work in NSW
n
Working with Children Check (WWCC)
n
Successful applicants will be required to undergo background (police) checks and medical declaration
n
