Located in Warabrook, HPC is seeking a full-time Management Accountant who will partner with internal stakeholders to facilitate the monthly rolling forecast process and support operational decision making through comprehensive management reports and strategic insights.
n
As the Management Accountant, you will produce timely and accurate financial and management accounts and reports in accordance with internal policies and procedures and Australian accounting standards.

DUTIES
n
n
Assist Financial Controller with all financial matters relating to Hunter Primary Care.
n
Business Partnering – be a first point of contact with designated business units and build in-depth knowledge in respect to business unit objectives
n
Develop financial models to assist with forecasting and developing new service offering.
n
Create reporting systems that offer unique insight and enable key stakeholders to make good business decisions.
n
Ensure compliance and reporting with funding contracts Assist with annual and periodic audit requirements
n
Maintain an overview of current and future trends and liaise with internal stakeholders to inform planning activities, tenders, and business development initiatives.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
n
n
Degree or equivalent in commerce or accounting and a minimum of 5 years related experience
n




Member of professional accounting body (CPA or CA)
n
Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or other tier 1 or 2 ERP system
n
Experience in financial modelling and application in the not for profit or health sector.
n
Demonstrated experience in business case scenario analysis and development of tender costing models.
n
Confident in working closely with relevant stakeholders.
n
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and work autonomously with limited guidance
n
Advanced Excel skills and experience developing complex models and data analysis. Competence and experience in other Microsoft Office Products including Word and Outlook
n
Management accounting experience
n
n
