Factory Accountant / Business Manager
n
We are looking for an experienced, practical and dependable Factory Accountant / Business Manager to work directly with the owner and assist with the day-to-day running of the business.
n
This is not a corporate office position. We are a hands-on manufacturing business and value common sense, reliability, sound judgement and a willingness to get involved.
n
The Role
n
The role will primarily involve:
n

Accounts and financial administration
n
Payroll, creditors and debtors
n
General office and business administration
n
Recruitment and assisting with staffing matters
n
Liaising with our external accountant, suppliers and service providers
n
Helping maintain and improve business systems and procedures
n
Assisting with the practical day-to-day issues involved in keeping the factory and office running smoothly
n
n
This is a varied position.



While much of the work will be office based, we are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a factory setting and willing to roll up their sleeves and help wherever reasonably required.
n
About You
n
You will ideally have experience in manufacturing accounting, business administration, financial control or a similar hands-on commercial role.
n
Accounting qualifications would be well regarded, although practical experience, reliability and sound judgement are equally important to us.
n
You should be organised, approachable and comfortable dealing with everyone from factory employees and suppliers through to customers and professional advisers.
n
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who enjoys being involved and takes satisfaction from helping a business run well.
n
