The Consultant Psychiatrist Will Join a Specialist Mental Health Service Delivering Care Across a Diverse Range Of Forensic And Secure Environments, Including

High-security inpatient units
n
Secure rehabilitation services
n
Extended treatment programs
n
Prison-based mental health services

Statewide services for individuals with intellectual disability
n
Provide senior medical leadership within a high-security inpatient forensic setting
n
Deliver expert psychiatric assessment, treatment, and risk management
n
Lead and support a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, coordinated, high-quality care
n
Contribute to clinical governance, service development, and quality improvement
n
Supervise and educate medical and clinical staff, supporting workforce development
n
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of care
n
Promote evidence-based, recovery-oriented practice in a secure environment
