We are seeking talented dump truck operators to join our Blackwater team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Our Blackwater team pride themselves on their high performance & inclusive culture. They have a long-standing presence among the Blackwater community & have been performing truck and excavator pre-strip operations at Whitehaven's Blackwater Mine since May ****.

Our fleet at the mine comprises a combination of Komatsu 930E and Caterpillar 789C haul trucks with Hitachi EX****, Caterpillar **** and Hitachi EX**** excavators.

About the Role:
n
We are seeking experienced Production Operators to join our high-performing team at Blackwater Mine. If you have experience operating any of the following, we want to hear from you:
n
n
Hitachi 930E Electric Trucks
n
CAT 785 Water Trucks
n
n
About You:
n
We are looking for motivated and safety-focused Production Operators who meet the following criteria:
n
n
Proven Experience: Hands‐on experience operating haul trucks in an open‐cut mining environment.
n
Technical Skills: Preference for candidates with experience operating:
n
Electric Trucks – Hitachi 930E (or equivalent)
n
Mechanical Trucks – CAT 789C (or equivalent)
n
Safety-First Mindset:



Solid commitment to following site procedures, with excellent attention to detail.
n
Results-Driven: Production-oriented with a focus on achieving operational targets efficiently and safely.
n
Adaptability & Initiative: Ability to work well under pressure and proactively contribute to team success.
n
Licensing & Certifications:
n
Current and valid driver's licence (mandatory)
n
Standard 11 (highly regarded)
n
n
