Public Sector People (PSP)are currently looking to speak toa System/ Network Administrator who would be interested in a 3-month rolling contract within a Local Government organisation.

This role will take responsibility for the network support and corporate applications to ensure systems are available and uninterrupted with appropriate security in place.
n
Another key responsibility of this role is to work closely with the Network Administrator to contribute to the effective operation and cohesive integration between network, desktop and communications infrastructure.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Responsible for software installations, upgrades and technical problem resolution working closely with applications owners and software vendors.
n
Ongoing administration and optimisation of the SQL database.
n




Work closely with the IT Manager to plan and schedule the implementation, upgrading and maintenance of corporate and business applications.
n
Project manage network infrastructure projects as assigned and allocated.
n
Perform upgrades or other network related activities.
n
Monitor the Service Desk system and proactively provide second level call resolution and to escalPrical? ???

Do you have:
n
n
A relevant degree or diploma with relevant work experience.
n
Experience managing a complex SQL environment
n
Substantial experience in managing and upgrading corporate applications.
n
Detailed knowledge of networking and network protocols (VMware)
n
Excellent knowledge and experience of Office365 and Azure.
n
Robust customer experience skills, able to liaise with stakeholders and going above and beyond to resolve issues.
n
Local government experience (preferred)
