About the Role
n
As Head Nurse, you'll play a key leadership role in the clinic, shaping nursing standards, mentoring the team, and maintaining clinical excellence.
n
In this full‐time role, you will:
n
n
Lead, coach, and mentor our Veterinary Nursing team
n
Build and nurture a positive, cohesive, and motivated team culture
n
Manage daily workflow to support a high‐performing clinical environment
n
Pre‐ and post‐operative care
n
Anaesthesia and surgical support
n




Animal pathology
n
Emergency and critical care
n
Work closely with veterinarians to ensure gold‐standard patient care
n
Identify opportunities to improve clinic efficiency and processes
n
Handle client enquiries professionally in person, via email, and over the phone
n
n
About You
n
You're an experienced veterinary nurse who leads by example and brings confidence, compassion, and consistency to your team.
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
n
3+ years' clinical nursing experience
n
Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading nursing teams
n
A calm, supportive leadership style
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
Strong organisation and attention to detail
n
Flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset
n
Familiarity with RxWorks (desirable, not essential)
n
