About the Role This is a position that's based in the Perth CBD, Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week on a 12-months' contract for an oil and gas operator.

As an Estimator within the Capital Projects team, you will support a portfolio of projects by developing and managing cost estimates across multiple scopes of work at varying stages of maturity.
n
You will be responsible for delivering efficient, consistent, and high-quality estimating outcomes while driving the use of standardized processes, systems, and tools to support effective project planning and decision‐making.

Responsibilities:

n
Cost estimate development for all project phases and classes of estimates.
n
Basis of Estimate (BoE) development.
n
Estimate planning.
n
Integrated Cost and Schedule Assurance (ICSA) reviews and engagements.
n
Cost and schedule risk assessments including risk analysis and contingency setting.
n
Cost risk model development.
n
Coordination of contractor and owners cost estimates.
n
Contract cost evaluations.
n
Cost change analysis and trending.
n
Estimate change log management and incorporation of risks, vulnerabilities and opportunities (RVOs).
n
Project cost benchmarking.
n
Business Planning (BP).
n




JVP Work Program and Budget (WP&B;).

Skills/Requirements
n
n
Robust knowledge of the oil and gas industry, including upstream, subsea, onshore, offshore, and downstream projects.
n
Proven expertise in cost estimating, cost analysis, and risk-based estimating.
n
Understanding of project planning and the relationship between schedule and cost.
n
Experience supporting major capital projects, ideally in the oil and gas sector.
n
Knowledge of project management processes, tools, and portfolio-based project delivery.
n
Experience working on large-scale projects (USD $1B-$10B) is highly regarded.
n
Demonstrated ability to deliver results and meet project objectives in complex environments.
n
