Job Description
We are seeking a highly driven and hands‐on Production Supervisor to lead operations within our fast‐paced flag ship manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, can think on their feet, and is confident making real‐time decisions to keep production running efficiently, safely and to required standard.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily production across wash, preparation and packing lines
n
Lead, coach and develop production teams to achieve volume, quality and safety targets
n
Respond quickly to production challenges and implement practical, on‐the‐spot solutions
n
Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP and hygiene standards
n
Monitor product quality, freshness and shelf‐life requirements
n
Drive continuous improvement across operations
n
n
KPI Ownership & Performance Management
n
n
MUV (Material Usage Variance):Control raw material yields and minimise waste
n
UPM (Units Per Minute):Maintain and improve line throughput
n
Line Efficiency: Maximise output versus capacity and reduce downtime
n
Labour Management: Optimise labour utilisation, productivity and cost control
n
FEFO (First Expiry, First Out):Ensure correct stock rotation and minimise write‐offs
n




Analyse daily production performance and take corrective action in real time
n
Report on KPI performance and implement improvement initiatives
n
n
About You
n
n
Proven experience in a supervisory role within food manufacturing, ideally fresh produce or ready‐to‐eat salads
n
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick, effective decisions
n
Agile thinker with a proactive, solutions‐focused mindset
n
Demonstrated experience managing KPIs and driving operational performance
n
Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP and food safety standards
n
Confident leader with the ability to engage and motivate teams
n
Comfortable working in a chilled, wet production setting
n
