The Role
n
In this customer-facing field service role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of laboratory instrumentation used within research institutes, universities, hospitals and clinical laboratories.
n
Working autonomously while supported by a collaborative national service team, you'll become a trusted technical expert for customers throughout QLD.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Install, commission and validate advanced laboratory instrumentation
n
Deliver customer training following installations
n
Perform preventative maintenance, fault finding, repairs and performance testing
n
Provide remote technical troubleshooting and support
n
Maintain accurate service documentation and compliance records
n
Manage spare parts inventory and equipment logistics
n
Work closely with Sales and Applications Specialists to identify upgrade and service opportunities
n
Prepare repair quotations and recommend ongoing service solutions
n
Participate in ongoing technical training and product development programs
n
Ensure all work complies with quality and regulatory requirements
n

About You
n
We're looking for an engineer who enjoys combining technical expertise with outstanding customer service.
n
Ideally You Will Have
n
n
Qualifications in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
n
Experience servicing laboratory, scientific, analytical, medical or diagnostic instrumentation
n
Strong electro-mechanical fault-finding skills
n
Experience working with Windows operating systems, software installations, networking and instrument configuration
n
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
n
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
n
The ability to work independently while managing a regional territory
n
A current Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout Queensland
n
