About the Opportunity

This is a rare one - a genuine end-to-end People & Culture Manager role with a global manufacturing business, where the culture is just as important to them as the outcomes.
n
You'll be the face of HR for the Australian arm of an international manufacturer, working across both the factory floor and the corporate office. You won't be sitting behind a desk pushing paper - you'll be out talking to people, building trust, and genuinely shaping how this business looks after its people.
n
They want someone authentic - someone who can sit down with a machinist on the floor just as easily as they can with the leadership team, and who leads with empathy as much as expertise.

About the Role
n
n
Be the trusted HR partner for leaders and employees across the business - genuinely present, genuinely approachable
n
Own employee and industrial relations end-to-end, handling everything from day-to-day queries through to more complex investigations and disciplinary matters
n
Coach and support leaders to have the tough conversations well, not avoid them
n
Run the full HR engine room - HRIS, onboarding, contracts, remuneration reviews - so it works quietly and well in the background
n
Bring your own ideas to the table on performance, development and culture,



backed by the resources of a global HR function
n
Build genuine relationships across a mixed blue and white collar workforce, understanding that what works on the floor doesn't always work in the office - and vice versa
n

About You
n
You're the kind of HR person people actually want to talk to - approachable, straight-talking, and genuinely interested in people, not just process.
n
n
Solid generalist HR experience, ideally across both blue and white collar environments
n
Comfortable being hands-on and getting into the detail, but equally confident advising senior leaders
n
A natural relationship-builder who earns trust quickly and keeps it
n
Down-to-earth and authentic
n
Global or multinational experience is a bonus, not a must-have
n
