About the Role
n
This is a hands-on leadership role offering full autonomy. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading the team with confidence, and driving continuous improvement across the clinic.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Oversee day-to-day clinic operations
n
Lead, support, and develop a multidisciplinary team
n
Manage staff rostering and workforce coordination
n
Ensure accurate Medicare billing, compliance, and maintain billing accuracy
n
Work closely with the on-site bookkeeper to support financial processes and reporting
n
Utilise PRODA and Medicare systems effectively
n
Maintain accreditation standards with AGPAL
n




Arrange and manage documentation for IMG (International Medical Graduate) GPs
n
Identify and implement process improvements and small project work
n
n
About You
n
n
Confident, hands-on leader who can take full ownership of a busy practice
n
Strong operational and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
n
Solid understanding of Medicare billing, compliance, and practice workflows
n
Proactive mindset with the ability to identify improvements and drive change
n
Excellent communication skills and ability to build a positive team culture
n
n
Qualifications & Experience
n
n
Previous experience as a Practice Manager within general practice (essential)
n
Strong working knowledge of Medical Director and Pracsoft (essential)
n
Experience using PRODA and Medicare systems (essential)
n
Experience with accreditation processes, including AGPAL (preferred)
n
Relevant qualification in Practice Management, Health Administration, or similar (desirable)
n
