Mack Fire Solutions pty ltd is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter - Lead Technician to join our growing team in Brisbane, QLD ****. This is a full-time position that offers a fantastic opportunity to lead and mentor junior technicians whilst delivering high-quality fire protection services to our valued clients. As Lead Technician, you will take responsibility for overseeing complex sprinkler installations, maintenance programmes, and system testing, ensuring all work meets Australian Standards and regulatory requirements. This role is pivotal to maintaining our reputation for excellence and safety within the fire protection industry.

Key responsibilities
n
Majority service and testing work with some tenancy fit out works.
n
Multi skilled technicians with fire detection license encouraged to apply
n
Install, inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems across residential, commercial, and industrial properties
n
Mentor, train and supervise junior technicians, providing guidance on best practices, safety procedures, and technical skills development
n
Conduct routine maintenance and servicing on existing sprinkler systems, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions
n
Document all work completed, including installation records, maintenance logs, and system certifications
n
What we're looking for
n
Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter with proven expertise in installation, maintenance and testing of fire sprinkler systems
n
Relevant qualifications including a recognised Fire Sprinkler Fitter certification or equivalent trade qualification
n
Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, particularly AS ********* and AS **** series relating to fire sprinkler systems
n




Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to effectively supervise, mentor and develop team members
n
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, hydraulic calculations and system schematics
n
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to various job sites across Brisbane and surrounding areas
n
Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with clients and stakeholders
n
Experience with fire safety compliance audits and system certifications
n
Current white card and ewp license.
