Our Canberra club is looking for a reliable, experienced and hands‐on Cleaning Supervisor to take ownership of the club's cleanliness, hygiene and presentation standards.
n
This position suits someone who takes genuine pride in their work, notices the details others miss and is comfortable working independently. You'll also supervise and work alongside a cleaner on selected days, depending on the club's operational requirements.

The role
n
This is a hands‐on position where you'll be directly responsible for ensuring the club is spotless and ready for members each day.
n
The role includes:
n
n
Working on site five days per week
n
Completing approximately six hours per day
n
Independently managing the club's day‐to‐day cleaning requirements
n
n
n
Completing daily and deep‐cleaning tasks
n
Maintaining exceptional cleanliness, hygiene and presentation standards
n
Conducting quality checks and addressing issues before members notice them
n
Following established cleaning procedures, checklists and safety requirements
n
Managing cleaning supplies and monitoring stock levels
n
Training, supporting and providing direction to cleaning staff
n
Preparing regular cleaning reports, maintenance reports and internal memos for management




n
Reporting maintenance concerns, damage and operational issues promptly
n
Supporting leave coverage and changes to the cleaning schedule when required
n
n
Working hours
n
This is not a traditional nine‐to‐five position.
n
As our clubs operate throughout the day, the majority of cleaning work will take place during evenings or overnight, including after the club has closed to members.
n
You'll often have the club to yourself, allowing you to work efficiently and maintain exceptional standards without interrupting the member experience.
n
Some daytime availability may occasionally be required for:

Training team members
n
Conducting inspections
n
Attending team meetings
n
Supporting operational projects
n
Coordinating with club management and contractors
n

Experience in health clubs, wellness facilities, hotels, commercial cleaning or other premium environments would be an advantage.
