Job Description
Recruitment Select is recruiting for a Production Supervisor on behalf of a leading manufacturer based in Albury. This position will commence on a full-time casual basis and will transition to a permanent role. Hours of work will be on a dayshift, Monday to Friday with overtime readily available during peak season.

Previous experience in a supervisory role is beneficial but candidates with a positive attitude and a want to advance into a supervisory role will be provided suitable training.
n
As the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and administration of the production department. During peak seasons, you will lead and coordinate seasonal staff, while in quieter periods you will take a hands‐on approach, operating plant and equipment and assisting with stock management and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
n

Work closely with the Operations Manager to recruit, induct, train and manage seasonal staff.
n
Coordinate production activities to ensure blending and coating plants operate safely, efficiently and meet production targets.
n
Manage staffing, scheduling and workflow requirements.
n
Monitor consumables, including bags, chemicals,



powders and inoculants, to minimise downtime.
n
Ensure production records, work orders and administrative documentation are accurately completed and maintained.
n
Assist with stock control and inventory management at the Albury site.
n
Ensure plant and equipment are serviced and maintained in line with scheduled maintenance programs.
n
Maintain a clean, tidy and organised production environment.
n
Promote and adhere to workplace health and safety procedures and standards.
n
