The Role

We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join a high-profile Information Security Program supporting an AI Program. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in strengthening security capabilities across critical applications, infrastructure and controls.
n
You will work across both offensive and defensive security activities, delivering red and purple team engagements, validating security controls and improving detection and logging capabilities.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Plan and execute red and purple team engagements across critical applications, infrastructure and security controls.
n
Build and maintain fit-for-purpose infrastructure to support security testing and adversary simulation activities.
n
Validate security controls, detection capabilities and logging to identify gaps and weaknesses.
n
Identify vulnerabilities and security gaps and work with relevant teams to support remediation.
n
Provide clear technical findings, recommendations and evidence demonstrating that identified gaps have been addressed.
n
Collaborate with security,



infrastructure and technology teams to improve the organisation's overall security posture.
n
Support the ongoing security uplift associated with the Information Security and Frontier AI programs.
n

Skills & Experience
n
n
Proven experience working as a Security Engineer, Cyber Security Engineer or similar within complex enterprise environments.
n
Strong hands-on experience with red team, purple team, penetration testing or adversary simulation activities.
n
Experience assessing and validating security controls across applications, infrastructure and technology environments.
n
Robust understanding of security detection, monitoring and logging capabilities.
n
Ability to identify security gaps, assess risk and provide practical remediation recommendations.
n
Strong technical understanding of enterprise infrastructure, applications and security technologies.
n
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical findings clearly.
n
Experience working collaboratively with Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Engineering and Technology teams.
