Unlike many traditional claims positions, this role gives you full ownership of a portfolio from lodgement through to settlement. You'll manage a diverse range of claims across motor, property, and risks, with exposure to everything from straightforward matters through to complex property losses valued at up to $5 million.
n
This is a role for someone who enjoys investigating, analysing information, making decisions, and solving problems rather than simply processing claims.

As a Claims Specialist, you will:
n
n
Manage a portfolio of approximately ******* claims end-to-end
n
Conduct investigations, policy interpretation and coverage analysis
n
Negotiate settlements and determine policy liability and exclusions
n
Handle complex motor, property and farm-related claims
n
Build strong relationships with brokers, customers and external stakeholders
n
Work collaboratively across Claims,



Underwriting and the wider business
n
Deliver fair, efficient and customer-focused outcomes
n
Take ownership of claims decisions and drive outcomes from start to finish
n
n
You'll work directly with brokers and stakeholders, developing strong relationships and becoming a trusted advisor throughout the claims process.

What We're Looking For

We're open to candidates from a variety of General Insurance claims backgrounds.

You'll bring:

Experience managing General Insurance claims

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

The confidence to make decisions and manage competing priorities
