Job Description
EMRG Imaging is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our team on a full time or part-time basis in our Box Hill location. As a Sonographer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients, contributing to the overall excellence of our medical imaging practice.

What you'll be doing
n
Performing a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, and musculoskeletal scans
n
Capturing and analysing ultrasound images to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions
n
Providing exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive patient experience
n
Maintaining detailed patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
n
Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
n
Adhering to safety protocols and quality assurance standards to ensure the highest level of patient safety
n
What we're looking for
n
Recognised tertiary qualification in Medical Sonography or a related field
n
Have the ability to work on your own, but also within a team environment
n
Expertise in performing a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal,



obstetric, gynaecological, and musculoskeletal scans
n
Exceptional patient care skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
n
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
n
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest industry practices and technologies
