We're looking for an experienced Specialist Engineer – Data to join a large enterprise setting in Brisbane.

This is a senior technical role suited to an experienced Data Engineer who can provide technical leadership across the design, development and implementation of solutions that improve data processing, integration, accessibility and reliability.
n
What you'll be doing:
n
n
Lead the design and development of complex data and engineering solutions
n
Design scalable systems and assess technical design options and trade-offs
n
Improve data integration, transformation, management and accessibility
n
Provide specialist technical advice to stakeholders and project teams
n
Drive automation, performance optimisation and continuous improvement
n
Ensure solutions meet quality, security, risk and governance requirements
n
Support cloud and technology infrastructure operations
n
Contribute to technical standards, knowledge sharing and emerging technology initiatives
n




Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks
n
n
What we're looking for:
n
n
Strong experience in Data Engineering / Specialist Engineering roles
n
Experience designing and delivering complex enterprise solutions
n
Advanced programming capability
n
Strong database, data integration and software integration experience
n
Cloud technology experience
n
Understanding of security, technical risk and quality assurance
n
Ability to provide technical leadership and work with senior stakeholders
n
Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, IT, Computer Science or a related discipline
n
