Job Description
An established global renewable energy developer is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager – ANZ to lead technical activities across a portfolio of large-scale Solar PV, BESS and hybrid renewable energy projects.

This is a senior, commercially focused engineering role supporting projects from early-stage development and acquisition through pre-construction, contracting, construction, commissioning and operational handover.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead engineering activities across the development, acquisition and delivery of utility-scale Solar PV, BESS and hybrid projects.
n
Manage technical due diligence for acquisitions, project financing and divestments.
n
Assess Solar PV and BESS technologies including modules, inverters, trackers, structures, batteries, BMS and EMS systems.
n
Lead concept design development including equipment sizing, layouts, SLDs, civil works and balance-of-plant systems.
n




Develop and review technical appendices for OEM supply, EPC, ICP and O&M; contracts.
n
Lead technical negotiations with OEMs, EPC contractors, ICPs and O&M; providers.
n

Experience:
n
n
10+ years' experience within the renewable energy sector.
n
Strong experience across utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects in Australia.
n
Experience gained with a renewable energy developer, EPC contractor, owner's engineer or technical advisory consultancy.
n
Robust understanding of Solar PV and BESS technologies and associated balance-of-plant infrastructure.
n
Experience developing and negotiating technical requirements within EPC, OEM, ICP and O&M; contracts.
n
HV substation design and construction experience would be highly regarded.
