Job Description
Core Talent are currently working with a Tier 1 electrical contractor delivering major commercial and infrastructure projects across Queensland, and they're looking to add an experienced Commissioning Supervisor to their team.

This role will suit someone with a robust background in electrical commissioning across commercial construction projects.

The Role
n
You'll take responsibility for the commissioning of electrical services across major projects, working closely with the project, engineering and site teams to ensure systems are tested, commissioned and ready for handover.
n

Lead and coordinate electrical commissioning activities on site
n
Develop and manage commissioning plans, programs and documentation
n
Coordinate testing and commissioning with project teams and subcontractors
n
Review electrical systems and documentation ahead of commissioning
n
Manage commissioning issues, defects and rectification works
n
Work closely with site teams to ensure systems are ready for testing
n
Coordinate with consultants, clients and other project stakeholders
n
Ensure testing, records and handover documentation are completed correctly
n
Support the project team through final commissioning and handover
n

About You
n
We're looking for an experienced Electrical Commissioning Supervisor who understands commercial construction and can confidently manage commissioning from pre-commissioning through to handover.
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
Extensive commercial electrical commissioning experience
n
Previous experience supervising commissioning activities on major projects
n
Strong understanding of electrical services and construction
n
Experience coordinating subcontractors, project teams and other stakeholders
n
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and documentation
n
Strong knowledge of testing, commissioning and handover processes
n
Excellent communication and site coordination skills
n
n
Candidates from an industrial electrical commissioning background will be considered, particularly where you have strong supervisory experience. However, candidates with substantial commercial building services experience will be preferred.
