This is a hands‐on warehouse role combining day‐to‐day warehouse duties with responsibility for coordinating workflow, allocating tasks, receipting incoming goods, preparing outbound orders and booking freight.

Key responsibilities
n

Coordinate daily warehouse priorities and workflow.
n
Allocate staff to daily tasks and work areas.
n
Receive and receipt incoming stock and customer goods.
n
Check incoming deliveries and report shortages or discrepancies.
n
Coordinate the preparation and packing of outbound orders.
n
Ensure customer orders are completed accurately and ready for dispatch.
n
Book outbound freight using Starshipit and carrier booking portals.
n
Prepare shipping labels, manifests and freight documentation.
n
Assist with freight tracking and delivery enquiries.
n
Record inbound, storage, handling and outbound activities for 3PL customers.

Is reliable, organised and takes ownership of their work.

Can coordinate competing daily priorities.

Communicates confidently with other team members.
n
Is comfortable using computers and learning new systems.
n
Is practical and happy to work hands‐on in the warehouse.
n
Can identify problems and help find practical solutions.
n
Is willing to learn and develop with the role.
n
Previous experience in warehousing, dispatch, freight, logistics or inventory would be beneficial but is not essential.
n
Forklift experience and a current licence are preferred.
