About the Role
n
As the EHS Advisor, you will act as a trusted partner to operational leaders, providing expert guidance, coaching, and support on all aspects of environmental, health, and safety management.
n
You will play a key role in strengthening safety performance, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and zero harm.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Partner with site leadership teams across manufacturing and distribution operations to drive EHS performance.
n
Provide practical advice and support to managers, supervisors, and employees on workplace health and safety obligations.
n
Develop, implement, and promote EHS standards, systems, and best practices.
n
Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and compliance audits.
n
Maintain regulatory registers, training records, and legislative compliance requirements.
n
Lead workplace incident and injury investigations,



ensuring thorough root cause analysis and effective corrective actions.
n
Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics and improvement initiatives.
n
Deliver engaging EHS training and awareness programs to employees and management.
n
Support workers' compensation and return-to-work processes where required.
n
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen safety culture and operational performance.
n

About You
n
n
Tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety, Occupational Hygiene, Environmental Health, or a related discipline.
n
Minimum 3 years' experience in an EHS, HSE, WHS, or Safety Advisor role.
n
Experience conducting workplace investigations and implementing corrective actions.
n
Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and risk management principles.
n
Experience within manufacturing, industrial, distribution, logistics, chemicals, or related operational environments.
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the business.
n
A proactive and solutions-focused approach to safety and compliance.
n

Highly Regarded
n
n
Experience with dangerous goods handling, storage, and transport.
n
Internal Auditor qualifications (ISO *****, ISO ****, and/or ISO *****).
n
Experience supporting workers' compensation and return-to-work programs.
n
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
n
Experience developing and delivering safety training programs.
n
