About the role
n
MFE is continuing to grow, with a robust pipeline of work across the region creating multiple opportunities for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team in Chinchilla.
n
Working across projects for Tier 1 clients, you'll be part of an experienced site team delivering mechanical maintenance, installation and project works within a safety-focused environment.
n
With both permanent and casual opportunities available, along with 12/9 and 5/2 roster options, we're looking for experienced tradespeople who want quality work, a strong team and ongoing opportunities.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Perform mechanical fitting, maintenance and installation activities across site
n
Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on fixed plant and equipment
n
Complete diagnostics, fault finding and equipment overhauls
n
Work across pumps, hydraulics, piping,



flanged pipework and associated equipment
n
Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and work packs
n
Complete equipment inspections and testing
n
Support shutdown, maintenance and project activities as required
n
Work closely with supervisors and the wider site team to deliver works safely and efficiently
n
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and contribute to a strong safety culture
n
n
What you'll bring
n
To be considered, you'll need demonstrated site-based experience, ideally working across major projects or Tier 1 client environments.
n
Mandatory requirements:
n
n
Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
n
Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
Construction White Card
n
Current Working at Heights
n
Demonstrated site experience
n
Strong commitment to safety and quality
n
Ability to work effectively within a team and follow site procedures
n
n
Additional tickets and experience across maintenance, shutdowns, gas, energy, resources or heavy industry will be highly regarded.
