A rapidly growing, ASX-listed company with a global footprint. Having experienced significant growth over recent years, they are building out their Tax function as international headcount and cross-border activity continues to expand.

About the Role
n
This newly created Tax Manager role will own global mobility and employment tax across the Group, partnering closely with People & Culture, Payroll and Finance.
n
You're the go-to specialist for expatriate tax, cross-border assignments and the employment tax obligations that come with a fast-scaling international workforce.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Manage global mobility tax matters, including expatriate and cross-border assignment structuring, tax equalisation and compliance.
n
Own employment tax obligations across jurisdictions - PAYG, FBT, payroll tax, superannuation and equivalent overseas obligations.
n




Advise People & Culture and Payroll on the tax implications of international hires, secondments and work from home arrangements.
n
Manage relationships with external tax advisors across multiple jurisdictions.
n
Support tax compliance and reporting related to employee share/equity plans.
n
Identify process improvements and controls as the mobility population grows.
n
Keep across changing tax legislation across key jurisdictions and translate it into practical guidance for the business.

Skills / Experience required
n
n
CA / CPA (or international equivalent) with 5+ years' experience in employment tax and/or global mobility.
n
Big 4 or mid-tier background highly regarded, ideally with in-house exposure.
n
Strong technical knowledge of FBT, PAYG and cross-border employment tax issues.
n
Experience supporting a growing international workforce or multinational group.
n
Excellent stakeholder management - comfortable partnering with People & Culture, Payroll and Finance.
