About the Role
n
Westar Trucks Derrimut is experiencing continued growth and is seeking a motivated Heavy Vehicle Sales Consultant to join our successful sales team.
n
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you'll work alongside experienced industry professionals, building strong customer relationships and delivering transport solutions to businesses across Victoria.
n
Key Responsibilities
n

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
n
Identify customer needs and recommend suitable MAN and Western Star truck solutions.
n
Conduct vehicle demonstrations and presentations.
n
Prepare quotations, proposals, and negotiate sales agreements.
n




Manage the sales process from enquiry through to delivery.
n
Work collaboratively with the broader sales team to achieve dealership targets.
n
Stay informed on industry developments, competitor activity, and product updates.
n

Skills and Experiences
n
About You
n
To be successful, you'll bring:
n
n
Experience in truck sales, transport, automotive, capital equipment, construction, agricultural machinery, or a similar sales environment.
n
Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
n
A consultative and solution-focused sales approach.
n
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
n
The motivation to achieve and exceed sales targets.
n
Confidence using CRM and Microsoft Office systems.
n
A valid driver's licence, with the willingness to obtain a Heavy Vehicle Licence if required.
n
n
The successful applicant will be required to undergo a National Police Check as part of the recruitment process.
