Vehicle Stock Controller - Automotive Dealership QLD

We are seeking an organised, proactive and detail-focused Vehicle Stock Controller to join our growing automotive dealership team.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Manage and maintain accurate vehicle stock records across dealership locations
n
Monitor all incoming and outgoing vehicle movements
n
Coordinate vehicle arrivals, transfers, allocations and dealer swaps
n
Manage VINs, registrations, compliance and vehicle documentation
n
Track new, demo, display, sold, delivered and available stock
n
Maintain accurate records of vehicle locations and status
n
Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile discrepancies
n
Coordinate with Sales, Accounts, Service, Registration and Logistics teams
n
Monitor vehicles in transit and follow up outstanding arrivals
n
Ensure dealership systems and stock reports are accurate and updated daily
n
Assist with vehicle registration and delivery preparation processes
n
Assist with month-end stock reconciliation and reporting
n
Identify ageing stock and provide regular stock reports to management
n
Follow up missing documentation, invoices,



registrations and vehicle information
n
Ensure stock processes comply with dealership and manufacturer requirements
n

About You
n
n
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
n
Confident using Excel, reporting tools and dealership management systems
n
Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
n
Strong communication and follow-up skills
n
Comfortable working across multiple departments and dealership locations
n
Automotive dealership experience is preferred
n
Previous vehicle stock control, dealership administration or registration experience will be highly regarded
n
