We're currently seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our team on a 7 days on / 7 days off roster based in Moura, QLD.

About the role
n
Working across heavy mining equipment, you'll be responsible for:
n
n
Breakdown diagnosis and repairs
n
Planned and preventative maintenance
n
Fault finding and troubleshooting
n
Component change-outs
n
Maintaining high safety and workmanship standards
n
Completing maintenance documentation
n
n
Essential Requirements
n
n




Australian Trade Qualification as a Diesel Fitter
n
Current Standard 11
n
Current Coal Board Medical (or ability to obtain)
n
Current Driver's Licence
n
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
n
Ability to work safely and independently
n
n
Desirable Experience
n
Candidates with experience working on the following equipment will be highly regarded:
n
n
Komatsu Electric Drive Truck Fleet
n
Komatsu Electric Rope Shovels
n
Hydraulic Excavators (Diggers)
n
Experience in open-cut coal mining environments
n
Experience with planned maintenance and breakdown support on large mobile mining equipment
n
n
