Salary $123,048 - $133,957 p.a. (Pro Rata) AHP4 | 22.5 Hours Per Week – Ongoing

The SALHN Mental Health Services is seeking an experienced Principal Clinical Psychologist to provide professional leadership, clinical governance and advanced
n
About the role:
n
Reporting to the Allied Health Director – Mental Health, you will:
n
n
Lead and coordinate high-quality psychology services across SALHN Mental Health Services.
n
Provide expert clinical advice on service planning, policy, workforce and complex clinical matters.
n
Develop strong collaborative relationships with clinical leads and multidisciplinary
n
n
teams.
n
n
Contribute to strategic allied health and psychology service development.
n
Monitor clinical standards, service quality, workforce priorities and resource allocation.
n
Develop and implement supervision frameworks supporting competency, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
n
Provide supervision, mentorship and professional support to senior and advanced psychologists.
n
Support research, education and training initiatives within the psychology profession.
n
n
About you:
n
n
An appropriate psychology degree/equivalent and general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia in Clinical Psychology.
n
Demonstrated clinical leadership and experience in psychology service planning and development.
n
Extensive experience working with consumers with high or complex needs.
n
Strong skills in strategic consultation, clinical governance and workforce planning.
n
Demonstrated ability to communicate,
negotiate and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
n
Experience contributing to quality improvement and evidence-based clinical practice.
n
n
