Step up and lead the charge in delivering excellence across plumbing maintenance and project works. A-Grade Maintenance is seeking a dedicated Plumbing Coordinator to join our expanding team in this full time, 12-month fixed-term role, with the view for extension.

About the Role
n
As Plumbing Coordinator, you'll take a hands-on leadership role, overseeing plumbers and contractors, managing daily operations, and ensuring all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards.
n
This role involves working across multiple client sites in metropolitan and regional Victoria, participating in a management on-call roster. Flexibility, proactive leadership, and leading by example are essential.

What You'll Do
n
n
Lead and coordinate plumbers and contractors to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
n
Assign daily tasks, provide operational support, and drive team performance.
n
Conduct regular on-site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and correct use of PPE and equipment.
n
Carry out site inspections and prepare plumbing quotes for client approval.
n
Assist the Operations Manager with job scheduling, workflow planning, and Work in Progress (WIP) reporting.
n
Manage ordering of plumbing materials and services and handle purchase orders and invoices.
n
Use A-Grade's systems to monitor job progress, maintain accurate records, and provide timely project updates.
n
Ensure all plumbing compliance certificates are completed and uploaded to relevant systems.
n
Inspect worksites to verify quality and elevate issues as necessary.
n
Enforce Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S;) standards, conducting audits and risk assessments.
n
Perform audits on Job Safety Analysis and Pre-Start Checklists to confirm compliance.
n
Maintain the Works Plant Register.
n
Identify and implement improvements to enhance team efficiency, safety, and project delivery.
n

What You'll Bring
n
n
Qualified and Registered Plumber
n
Minimum 1-2 years of team leadership experience in a plumbing environment
n
Experience in maintenance and commercial plumbing highly desirable
n
White Card and valid driver's license for site travel
n
Strong knowledge of OH&S; and risk management
n
Tech-savvy with experience in systems like Fergus (or similar) & Microsoft Office
n
Excellent communicator, able to keep clients and internal teams aligned and informed
n
