We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established commercial plumbing business based in Carrum Downs, specialising in below-ground drainage and services across commercial construction projects across metropolitan Melbourne.
n

The Role
n
This is a hands-on Plant Operator / Labourer role for someone who is comfortable being an all-rounder on commercial plumbing sites. You'll move between plant operation and general labouring tasks as required to keep jobs moving efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Operating and maintaining plant and heavy vehicles
n
Trench excavation and below-ground works
n
General labouring across commercial plumbing sites
n
Assisting trades on site and supporting the wider crew
n
Manual labour, lifting and material handling as required
n
Transporting plant, equipment, fill and spoil
n
Daily plant checks and basic maintenance
n
Working safely and efficiently on active construction sites
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
This role suits someone who:
n
n
Has minimum 3 years' experience operating plant on commercial construction sites
n
Is confident with trenching and excavation work
n
Is happy to be hands-on and contribute as an all-rounder, not just operate plant
n
Holds a Heavy Vehicle Driver's Licence
n
Has a White Card and plant tickets
n
Understands OHS and works safely at all times
n
Is a team player — happy to help others and get stuck in
n
Shows initiative and wants to broaden their skills across commercial plumbing works
n
n
Mechanical aptitude or leadership potential is well regarded.
n
Candidates based in Melbourne's south-east suburbs will be highly regarded, given the location of projects and depot.
