About the role
n
Your Nursing Care is seeking passionate and experienced Registered Nurses to join our growing casual community nursing team across the Fraser Coast.
n
Our nursing team comes from a diverse range of clinical backgrounds including surgical nursing, breast cancer nursing, stroke and medical nursing, aged care, community nursing and midwifery – bringing together a wealth of knowledge, compassion and experience to support our clients within the community.
n
While our recent contract role has now been filled, we are continuing to grow our casual nursing workforce to support increasing community demand and ongoing service expansion.
n
We understand many nurses are looking for flexibility alongside hospital roles, family commitments, study or simply better work-life balance. This role has been designed to provide meaningful community nursing work within a supportive, nurse-led environment.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Providing holistic nursing care to clients across NDIS, aged care and private services
n
Completing nursing assessments and contributing to individualised care planning
n
Supporting wound care,



continence management, medication administration and general clinical nursing interventions
n
Collaborating with families, support workers, allied health professionals and other healthcare providers
n
Educating clients and families regarding health management and ongoing care needs
n
Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical documentation
n
Supporting clients to remain independent, secure and connected within their community
n
Assisting with community palliative care and complex clinical supports where required
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Previous nursing experience within hospital, aged care or community settings advantageous - looking for a change? We'd love to hear from you!

Robust clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently while remaining well-supported within a collaborative team
n
Confidence using electronic clinical systems and documentation platforms
n
Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
n
A genuine passion for compassionate, person-centred care
n
n
Highly regarded experience areas include
n
n




Surgical nursing
n
Medical or stroke nursing
n
Oncology or breast cancer nursing
n
Aged care nursing
n
Midwifery or maternal health
n
Community nursing or high intensity support
