About the Role
n
This is a unique leadership opportunity that offers the best of both worlds.
n
You'll spend 50% of your time leading on the floor, supporting children, educators and curriculum, and 50% off the floor, working alongside the Centre Leader to ensure the smooth day to day operation of the service.
n
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring others, has exceptional organisational skills, pays close attention to detail and wants to make a genuine impact on the quality of an already high-performing service.

Your Responsibilities
n
Educational Leadership
n
n
Lead by example and model exceptional teaching practice.
n
Mentor, coach and support educators to continuously improve.
n
Support curriculum planning, critical reflection and educational documentation.
n
Build strong relationships with children and families.
n
Promote high quality supervision and engaging learning environments.
n
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
n
n
Operational Leadership
n
n
Support the Centre Leader with the day to day management of the service.
n
Assist with staffing, room organisation and daily operations.
n
Ensure documentation is accurate, organised and completed on time.
n
Monitor compliance with the National Quality Framework and National Regulations.
n
Support incident management, investigations and follow up actions.
n
Contribute to Quality Improvement Plan implementation and continuous improvement.
n
Help maintain the high standards expected of an Exceeding service.
n

About You
n

Essential Requirements
n
n
Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
n
Current Working With Children Check.
n
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
n
Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and EYLF.
n
Previous experience in a senior educator, educational leader or leadership role within early childhood education.
n
