Senior Health Information Manager - Information Access Unit

Permanent full time opportunity to lead and manage the Information Access team, ensuring compliance with the Right to Information Act **** (Qld) and the Information Privacy Act **** (Qld), while fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and privacy protection.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Supervise and mentor the Information Access team, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
n
Allocate workloads effectively to ensure timely processing of RTI/IP applications.
n
Oversee the assessment and decision-making process for RTI/IP applications, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
n
Provide high-level advice and support to senior management and staff on complex or sensitive information access and privacy matters.
n
