We are seeking an experienced Process Piping / Revit MEP Drafter to join our Sydney team on a 6–12 month contract, with the potential for extension based on project workload and performance.
n
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a technically complex advanced manufacturing facility, developing and coordinating process piping and building services within highly serviced production environments.
n
The position is fully office-based in Sydney, with occasional day trips to a local project site as required. The anticipated commencement is late August.
n
The Role
n
Working closely with our engineering and project teams, you will be involved in the development and coordination of process piping and services documentation using Revit MEP and/or Plant 3D.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Developing process piping layouts and detailed drawings
n
Producing and updating P&IDs;
n
Developing coordinated services models using Revit MEP and/or Plant 3D
n
Preparing piping plans, sections, details and equipment layouts
n
Coordinating process piping with architectural, structural and building services disciplines
n
Working closely with mechanical, electrical and process engineers
n




Assisting with multidisciplinary BIM coordination and clash resolution
n
Incorporating engineering mark-ups and design changes into models and drawings
n
Supporting documentation through design and construction phases
n
Occasional attendance at a local Sydney project site as required
n
n
About You
n
Ideally, you will have approximately 5–15 years of relevant drafting/design experience, although capability and relevant project experience will be considered ahead of a strict number of years.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Strong process piping drafting/design experience
n
Proficiency in Revit MEP and/or AutoCAD Plant 3D
n
Experience developing P&IDs; and piping layouts
n
Good understanding of equipment layouts and piping coordination
n
Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering environments
n
Robust attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical documentation
n
Good communication and coordination skills
n
Ability to work effectively as part of a project team
n
n
Experience with mechanical and/or electrical building services would be highly regarded.
n
Previous experience within advanced manufacturing, pharmaceutical, laboratory, cleanroom, food/process, industrial or similarly highly serviced facilities would also be advantageous.
