Description

The Management Accountant will be responsible for the following:
n
n
Maintain and analyse manufacturing BOMs and costing structures to ensure accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
n
Monitoring inventory transactions, stock movements and cycle counts, including investigation and reporting of variances.
n
Analyse manufacturing, purchase price and inventory variances, providing insights and recommendations to management.
n
Manage inventory adjustments, write-offs, ageing and obsolescence provisions in line with company policies and accounting standards.
n
Provide inventory,



costing and financial analysis to support manufacturing programs, projects and financial controls.
n
Monthly management and board reporting and presentations
n
Support recent manufacturing projects, systems and process improvement initiatives.
n
Assist with audit and tax requirements, including preparation of supporting documentation.
n

Profile
n
A successful Management Accountant should have:
n
n
A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
n
Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system
n
Professional accreditation such as CPA or CA.
n
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
n
Experience in a similar role within manufacturing or an adjacent industry
n
Experience with inventory accounting, product costing
n
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
n
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
n
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
n
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
n
Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
