COEX is a not-for-profit organisation appointed by the Queensland Government to deliver the Containers for Change scheme. With a bold vision that "no container goes to waste", COEX is creating meaningful environmental, social and economic impact across the state.

This role sits at the heart of COEX's growth agenda, leading the team responsible for managing and growing COEX's network of over 3,000 partners across the state.
n
The Opportunity
n
Reporting to the General Manager, Growth, the Manager, Growth will lead COEX's Account Management function, bringing structure, consistency and a strong analytical lens to how the business manages its partner portfolio.
n
You will lead a team responsible for the day-to-day management of COEX's diverse partner network across Queensland. This is a business in a strong growth phase, and this role is central to delivering it.
n
Alongside leading the team, you will personally manage a number of COEX's higher profile partnerships, which may include large multi-site retail, hospitality, commercial property or events organisations operating across the state.

Key Responsibilities
n

Lead and develop the Account Management team, bringing accountability, consistency and a clear sense of direction to how the team operates.
n
Embed a standardised approach to account management, including segmentation, structured call plans and clear engagement cadences.
n
Lead, coach and develop a team of Account Managers to achieve high performance, deliver exceptional outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
n
Personally manage a portfolio of COEX's higher profile or more complex partner relationships.
n
Identify and act on growth opportunities within the existing partner portfolio, working closely with COEX's Growth Improvement and Acquisitions.
n




Report on partner and team performance against agreed KPIs to the General Manager, Growth and other stakeholders as required.

Build robust working relationships with peer teams across COEX.
n
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, coaching the team to lift both activity and outcomes.

About You
n
n
You are an experienced people leader with a background in sales, account management or partnership management.
n
You bring a structured, process driven approach, with the analytical skills to bring segmentation and consistency to a large and growing partner base.
n
You demonstrate high levels of personal accountability around commitments, and are driven by achieving growth targets.
n
You have a track record of leading teams through change, bringing stability, clarity and a strong sense of accountability.
n
You have demonstrated the ability to train and develop others around you, supporting them to achieve high levels of performance.
n
You are personable and high in emotional intelligence, able to bring a team along with you while holding them to account.
n
You are comfortable managing complex or high-profile relationships alongside leading a team.
n
You bring 10 to 15 years of experience in a relevant field, along with a genuine passion for sustainability.
