Project Geologist | RC & Diamond Drilling Program | Queensland

An exciting opportunity is available for a Project Geologistto join a growing exploration team on a significant drilling program in Queensland.
n
This upcoming program will focus on validating historical datasets through a series of duplicate drill holes across an existing mining project, supporting a major asset consolidation and future development plans.
n
The Opportunity
n
Working as part of a small, hands-on team, you will play a key role in the planning and execution of a 2-3 month RC and diamond drilling program. This position is ideal for a geologist with at least 3 years of industry experience who enjoys balancing field leadership responsibilities with core geological duties.

Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Assisting with the day-to-day management and execution of the drilling program
n
RC and diamond core logging
n
Sampling and QA/QC activities
n
Drill contractor liaison
n
Data collection and program reporting
n




Supporting safe and efficient field operations
n
n
About You
n
n
Minimum 3 years' experience in exploration or mine geology
n
Strong RC and diamond drilling experience
n
Proven logging, sampling and geological data management skills
n
Ability to work autonomously in a remote field environment
n
Strong communication and organisation
n
A proactive and team-oriented approach
n
n
