The IT Leadis responsible forthe day-to-day management, maintenance and security of AIM Defence's IT
systems,networksand
cloud services.This is a hands‐on role requiring solid technical capability across Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, cybersecurityand end‐user support.

Workingclosely with the Co-CEO tomanage IT
prioritiesandallocatetasks
to the IT team, the key responsibilities cover:

Microsoft O365 and Azure:
n
n
Act as the senior escalation point for technical support matters.
n
Administeror manage delegation tosupport Microsoft 365 services.
n
Support collaboration platforms and productivity tools.
n
Maintain documentation and system configurations.
n
Administer andmaintainAzure cloud services.
n
Manage
identity,authenticationand
access management.
n
Configure andmaintainAzure security controls.
n
Monitor cloud
resources,performanceand
availability.
n
Support backup,recoveryand disaster recovery solutions.
n
Maintain and supportNetworking Infrastructure:
n
Perform network monitoring and troubleshooting.
n
Manage hardware refreshes and infrastructure upgrades.
n
Ensure IT
systemsremainreliable
and secure.
n

Cyber Security & Compliance
n
n




Maintain compliance with the Essential Eight framework.
n
Manage endpoint protection, patching and vulnerability remediation.
n
Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents.
n
Support DISP and Defence security requirements.
n
Manageandmaintainsecurity
policies and technical controls.
n
n
Technical Support
n
n
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support.
n
Resolve complex
infrastructure,networkingand
Microsoft 365 issues.
n
Support onboarding and offboarding activities.
n
Assiststaff with
hardware,softwareand
connectivity issues.
n
Manage relationships with IT suppliers and service providers.
n
Oversee hardware procurement and software licensing.
n
MaintainaccurateIT asset registers.
n
Coordinate
warranty,maintenanceand
support agreements.
n
n
Whatyou'llbring
n
n
Minimum5+years' experience IT infrastructure,
systemsadministrationor
network management.
n
Previousexperience leading or supervising technical staff.
n
Experience managing Intune and endpoint security solutions.
n
Strong networking knowledge including switching,
routing,wirelessand
firewalls.
n
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
n
Experience implementing
andmaintainingcyber
security controls.
n
n




Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Have excellent time management skills as you will need to be able to prioritise workloads and shiftfocusas necessary.Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlinesExemplary verbal and written communication skills.

Defence, manufacturing or technology sector experience.
n
Microsoft certifications (Azure, M365 or Security).
n
Cisco,Fortinetor equivalent networking certifications.
n
Experience supporting security-cleared environments.
n
n
