Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client for an initial 6-month temporary contract. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring they are delivered within agreed scope, time, budget and quality parameters.

A key requirement for this position is demonstrated experience managing Business & IT projects, including implementation, enhancement, transformation or related business systems initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects from planning through to implementation and closure.
n
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies and quality.
n
Work closely with Business Owners, subject matter experts, technical teams and external vendors.
n
Manage Business & IT-related projects, ensuring business requirements, system impacts and delivery outcomes are clearly understood.
n
Support requirements gathering, business analysis and assessment of impacts across business processes and operating models.
n
Prepare project plans, governance documentation, status reports, meeting packs, minutes and risk/issue registers.
n
Facilitate project working groups and stakeholder meetings.
n
Identify and elevate key risks, issues, dependencies and delivery challenges.
n
Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.
n
Contribute to improving project management frameworks, tools and delivery practices.

Key Requirements
n
n
Strong end-to-end project management experience across scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues and dependencies.
n
Experience with implementation, enhancement, transformation or integration projects.
n
Strong business analysis and requirements gathering capability.
n
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
n
Ability to work autonomously, manage ambiguity and take accountability for complex projects.
n
Experience working with internal teams, vendors and senior stakeholders.
n
Advanced Microsoft 365 skills and experience with project portfolio management tools.
n
Government or regulated industry experience is highly desirable.
n
Relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management, Business, Business Analysis or a related discipline.
n
PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile or other relevant project management certification is desirable.
n

Applicants must be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, or New Zealand citizen with a valid passport. Travel to other work locations may be required.
