Help prepare Birch & Waite's newest site for launch

As we prepare to bring our new Villawood facility online in the first quarter of next year, we're looking for a Safety Consultant to lead safety readiness for the site ahead of the move.
n
We're looking for someone who can take our existing safety standards and translate them into a new site, working through risk assessments, commissioning checks and readiness planning to make sure Villawood is safe and compliant from the day operations begin.
n
You'll combine technical safety expertise with hands‐on delivery, working closely with operations and project teams to get the new site ready, while keeping our current sites running safely in the meantime.
n
This role is currently based across our Marrickville and Revesby sites, with a focus on preparing Villawood for a safe move‐in in Q1 next year.

You'll be responsible for
n
n
Leading safety readiness planning and preparation for the new Villawood site ahead of move-in
n
Conducting risk assessments, hazard identification and safety audits as part of commissioning
n
Developing and adapting safety systems, procedures and training for the new site
n
Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and standards prior to occupation
n
Partnering with project, operations and construction teams throughout the transition
n




Supporting the rollout of established safety systems from Marrickville and Revesby into Villawood
n
Maintaining safety documentation across current and incoming sites
n
