Are you an experienced Senior Building Manager looking to step into a broader leadership role?
n
Our client is a well-established and growing Building Management company that manages a portfolio of premium residential and mixed-use developments across Sydney. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to oversee a portfolio of buildings while mentoring and supporting a team of Building Managers.
n
This is an excellent chance for someone who enjoys remaining involved in the day-to-day operation of a building while taking the next step into leadership and portfolio management.

The Opportunity
n
This is a genuine dual-purpose role where you'll continue to manage one key residential asset while overseeing the performance of several additional buildings managed by your team.
n
Working closely with senior leadership, you'll play a key role in driving operational excellence, supporting Building Managers and ensuring exceptional service delivery across your portfolio.
n
No two days will be the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on building operations with leadership responsibilities.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
As Portfolio Manager, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Managing the day-to-day operations of a premium residential building.
n
Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of Building Managers across multiple sites.
n
Conducting regular site inspections and operational reviews.
n
Building strong relationships with Owners Corporations, Strata Managers, Building Management Committees and residents.
n
Overseeing contractor performance, maintenance programs and statutory compliance.
n
Assisting Building Managers with complex operational issues and resident escalations.
n
Preparing reports and attending Committee and General Meetings.
n
Monitoring portfolio performance, presentation standards and customer satisfaction.
n
Supporting staff development through coaching, mentoring and performance reviews.
n
Working closely with senior management to continually improve operational processes.
n

About You
n
To be successful, you'll be an experienced Building Management professional who enjoys developing people just as much as managing buildings.
n
You'll Bring
n
n
Minimum 4 years' experience within Residential Building Management, Facilities Management or Strata Management.
n
Previous experience managing multiple buildings or complex residential communities.
n
Leadership or mentoring experience within a Building Management environment.
n
Strong understanding of residential building operations, contractor management and compliance.
n
Experience working alongside Owners Corporations, Strata Managers and Building Management Committees.
n
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
n
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
n
A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
n
Strong computer literacy and experience using Building Management software.
n
Current Australian Driver's License and White Card (or willingness to obtain).
n
