Lab3 is one of the largest Azure engineering practices in the Australasia region with a focus on Cloud & DevOps, Data, IoT & AI, Modern Workplace, Modern Apps & Integration, Security , andNetwork services.
n
We are accepting Expressions of Interest for a NV1 security cleared Principal Engineers , ideally based in Canberra, with deep experience in Azure Cloud & DevOps tolead, deliver and support the execution of technical solutions that meet our clients'needs. We are open to permanent and contract employees- with multiple roles open, we are likely to take a mix of both.

The role
n
n
Actas the lead Engineerfor technical client engagements in deliveringand overseeing Azure assessments, solutions, and implementations forour client(s)
n
Engineer, advise and implementon appropriate state-of-the-art technical patterns on Azure
n
Provide technical reviews on architecture and design deliverables whilst supporting engagements as a SME.
n
Participate in the consultation between LAB3 and clients to understand strategic business requirements and translate those into effective cloud solutions.
n
Communicate and present discoveries to senior management and executive stakeholders
n
Partner with the Project Managers to provide technical input into scheduling, estimating activities and project delivery
n
Support our pre‐sales teams with documentation,



design and transformative direction. Help setup proof‐of‐concept prototypes
n
Identify , interpret, and communicate meaningful insights via workshops, presentations, and reports
n
Run workshops and cloud adoption activities with our customers as necessary.
n
Recommend client value creation initiatives and implement industry best practices
n
Provide technical leadership and be a role model to the engineers.
n

The ideal candidate:
n
Will demonstrate robust engineering skills in the following:
n
n
IaC – Terraform, PowerShell
n
Azure Resource Manager - ARM Templates and Bicep
n
Azure Security Centre Operations
n
PowerShell module creation and management
n
n
Experience withOpen-source containers (AKS Kubernetes) is desirable.
