Job Description
Compas is seeking multiple Senior Project Managers to join a Federal Government Department for a long-term engagement. The ideal candidate will support the agency by overseeing and ensuring the high quality and consistent delivery of projects.

Initial contract till September **** + extensions

Baseline Clearance or the ability to obtain one quickly
n
QLD, ACT, and SA
n

Key Duties and Responsibilities
n
n
Manage, lead and deliver projects that may have an agency wide impact
n
Develop, implement and evaluate project plans and schedules in accordance with the agency's project management framework and consider project interdependencies
n
Collaborate with staff in immediate work area and with internal and external stakeholders
n
Oversee project design, governance arrangements and operational integration
n
Ensure project deliverables and milestones are met on time and within budget
n
Lead strategic planning for longer term project initiatives
n
n
Desired Skills and Experience
n
n




Ability to contribute to agency's continuous improvement by improving systems, processes and tools related to project management and reporting.
n
Excellent Stakeholder management and ability to collaborate and communicate effectively that contributes to a cross-functional team development pipeline.
n
Experience tracking a complex ICT project and providing support to clear blocking issues.
n
