Connect APAC are delighted to partner with one of Australia's largest Food Manufacturers in their search for a Territory Manager. Reporting into the Head of Food Service, you will be responsible for driving new business development and end-user engagement across Queensland. This role focuses on building strong relationships with foodservice operators across segments such as hospitality, pubs & clubs, contract catering, healthcare, and education, identifying opportunities to expand distribution and increase product penetration and volume. The Territory for the role is predominantly focused on the Brisbane/Gold Coast/Sunshine Coast region, with occasional trips to North Queensland.

Key responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across foodservice operators and key accounts within the territory
n
Build a strong pipeline of potential customers through prospecting, networking, and industry engagement
n
Convert opportunities into ongoing business through effective product demonstrations, menu solutions, and commercial proposals
n
Drive product adoption with end users to generate pull-through demand via distributor partners
n




Build and maintain strong relationships with chefs, foodservice operators, procurement teams, and key decision-makers
n
Provide product knowledge, menu ideas, and operational solutions that support customer needs
n
Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships and identify growth opportunities
n
Support customers with product trials, menu development, and implementation
n
Work with foodservice distributors to ensure effective supply and distribution of products to end users
n
Support distributor sales teams with product training, joint customer visits, and sales opportunities
n
About you
n
2–5+ years' experience in foodservice sales, hospitality sales, or FMCG field sales
n
Solid understanding of the foodservice industry and operator environment
n
Experience working with or through foodservice distributors
n
Demonstrated ability to generate new business opportunities
n
Strong organisational and planning skills
n
Current driver's licence and willingness to travel within the territory
