Senior Legal Counsel, Workplace Health & Safety

We have partnered with a national federal organisation who are seeking a senior level WHS/ Employment lawyer with 7 + years experience to join their high-performing team.
n
This opportunity offers broad ranging work which will see you advising on a range of WHS investigations, WHS projects and general employment litigation for an extended contract term of 10 months, with the strong possibility of extension for an additional 12 months.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Leading and advising on workplace investigations, fact-finding and interviewing;
n
Advising on employment compliance, employee relations, restructuring;
n
Advising on employment contracts, advising on policies, project based employment matters;
n
Supporting on WHS matters,



enquiries and investigations;
n
Representing clients in complex employment disputes in a range of jurisdictions.
n
n
Ideal Candidate
n
n
Senior level lawyer (at least 7 + years PQE) with a strong employment, WHS or workplace relations background;
n
Proven ability to manage WHS investigations and sensitive workplace matters;
n
Robust drafting, advisory and client management skills;
n
Experience in employment, workplace health and safety litigation.
n
Security Clearance required for this role.
