A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced Purchasing Officer to join a leading organisation based in Dandenong South.

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with previous purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth procurement of materials and products by liaising with suppliers, managing purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, and supporting operational requirements.

Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm
n Start Date: Immediate Start Available
n Pay Rate: $***** per hour

Key Responsibilities
n
As a Purchasing Officer, your duties will include:
n
n
Raising and processing purchase orders accurately and efficiently
n
Communicating with suppliers regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and order status
n
Monitoring stock levels and coordinating replenishment of inventory
n
Following up outstanding orders to ensure on-time delivery
n
Maintaining accurate purchasing records and supplier information within company systems
n
Assisting with supplier management and resolving supply-related issues
n




Working closely with internal departments to support operational and production requirements
n
Providing administrative support and assisting with additional tasks as required
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
n
n
Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, administration, or a similar role
n
Solid organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
n
Experience processing purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers
n
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
n
Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and Teams
n
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
n
A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities
n
